Why Sunburst?

Rich and Jerrie Ingersoll, co-founders of The Greyhound Alliance, named this unprecedented effort to home Panhandle greyhounds for the spirit of one of their true friends, Nicklaus. "Nicklaus, our first greyhound, was our inspiration to help as many greyhounds as possible find forever homes. He truly brought a 'burst of sunlight' into our lives that continues to shine through The Sunburst Project." Rich and Jerrie

"Rollover"

The Greyhound Alliance
would like to introduce you to
a special boy with a special story

Please meet ....

"Rollover"
"Rollover" was selected from all the residents at
The Sunburst Project Kennel to train as a Service Dog!!
But shortly after he started working his way very successfully through the program, it became apparent that "Rollover"
had an undiagnosed injury to his hind legs.

The Greyhound Alliance

with their expertise in helping special needs greyhounds
brought "Rollover" up to Chicago for repairs!
But "Rollover" is pretty badly hurt.

He has ligament and tendon damage and will need major surgery to put all his pieces back together again
followed by a long  and tough period of recuperation.

"Rollover" is just flat out sweet as pie.

We are giving "Rollover" all the love he can stand
but his care is going to be expen$$$$ive.

If you can find it in your heart and pocket book to help,
Support The Greyhound Alliance HERE!
